Kids' race to start immediately after the start of the 10K race.

The
San Diego 10K Summer Run will take place at Lake Murray
Reservoir on Saturday, August 29th. Runners and walkers of all levels
are invited to participate in this first annual event. Participants can
expect to run or walk on a scenic, flat and paved course with mile
markers.
Proceeds from
this event will benefit the San Diego Saints Youth Hockey Club,
a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for boys
and girls of all backgrounds to play the sport of ice hockey.
A portion of the proceeds will also benefit Outdoor Outreach,
a program which empowers at-risk and underprivileged youth to make
positive, lasting changes in their lives through comprehensive outdoor
programming.
Kids' Race:
Kids ages 10 to 14 also invited to participate in a 2 mile kids'
race. All participants who register before Aug 17 will receive a t-shirt and awards will be given
for top finishers.
Features of the 10-K race include:
- Participant t-shirt for all who register before Aug. 17- Prizes for top finishers
- On Site EMT/First-Aid
- Live DJ entertainment
- Recorded times for all participating runners
