Lake Murray Reservoir is located within the boundary of Mission Trails Regional Park, which lies between the city of San Diego and the neighboring communities of La Mesa and Santee. The running course is a flat paved road around the lake as far as the dam gate and back. The round-trip is a distance of 6.2 miles (10K). There will be mile markers with time notifications as well as 2 water stations along the course.
The race will begin at 7:00 A.M

The kids' race will be a shorter course that will be total a distance of 2 miles round-trip. Starting time will be immediately after the start of the 10K Race.

Directions: From Interstate 8 - Take 8 to the Lake Murray Blvd. exit. Turn north onto Lake Murray Blvd. and proceed for 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Kiowa Drive. The entrance is 0.2 miles down Kiowa Drive.

Parking: There is a limited amount of parking space on the grounds of Lake Murray Reservoir. Participants are encouraged to carpool. More information regarding additional parking will be posted as the race approaches.
